Our story
We left big health systems
to fix them.
Prince Kumar started WASS in Kolkata in 2014 with a small in-house team and one conviction: business software should be as usable as the consumer apps people rely on at home — and it should never cut corners on reliability or data.
Today we are a thirty-person studio that goes deep in a few domains — clinical systems, ERP and retail. Every engineer on your project has shipped that kind of system before. No generalists, no ramp-up, no learning on your budget.

Prince Kumar founds WASS in Kolkata — a small in-house software team.

Expanded to FHIR integration practice. First zero-breach SOC 2 audit.

We shadow clinical staff before writing a line of code. Every screen is validated against real workflows — not assumptions. Software that fits how doctors work gets adopted; software that fights them gets abandoned.
Compliance is architecture
HIPAA, SOC 2 Type II, HITRUST, and ABDM are not audit checklists. They are design constraints we build around from day one. Every repository, every deployment pipeline, every sub-processor.
FHIR-native engineering
Our entire stack is built around HL7 FHIR R4. Interoperability is a first-class feature — not retrofitted middleware. When your systems need to talk, they already speak the same language.
